Lordy, Lordy, Randy's Forty (three)
and boy does he look excited about it.
The birthday boy opening his cards and presents.

Obviously Sam was not impressed with this present. She was driving us nuts with her job as the "present giver outer".

Will's got Chels in a headlock.
Ok, a couple years ago Gramma got Randy a pair of pants for his birthday. He went to try them on and she thought they looked sorta baggy in the "crotch area". She went to grab the extra fabric and SURPRISE!!! She grabbed something else! It's been an on going joke since then. Now, every year she HAS to get him pants and check them out. This time, Randy was ready for her. He stuck a big pair of tube socks in his pants and she had the surprise this time.
He can't wait until next year.

Daddy and his girlies
All of us.

See What I Have To Live With.....

When these two get a hold of a camera, you never know what you're going to get....

Look at those eyeballs...the other day Sam asked me if she was supposed to have two eyebrows!! Then she said "Cuz I only have one!" HA! Poor kid.

The girls, I always ask them to take a nice picture! I get this...

or this....

Finally!

Here they are at the antique shop on the square trying on old hats.

Sam and her dog, Evana. Juan, a guy at Randy's work, loves Sam. He bought her this dog that barks, begs and does a flip. Sam is totally loving this fake dog.

She made her a dog house.

Every morning there she is...right where we left her. This is my kind of pet!

Last weekend Sam's school had their Fall Festival. They have a bunch of slides and games. Every class has a booth. Chels and I volunteered for Sam's class. They had the duck pond booth. Sam had a good time.
Chels and Sam did the cake walk. Sam couldn't wait to do this...it was her favorite game last year. She never won a cake last year.
But this year Chels won on the first try!
While we were off having fun at the Fall Festival, Randy was busy replacing some rotting wood on the dormers on the roof of our house.
Well, actually, Savino (works for Randy) was busy doing it. Randy would probably throw up doing that on the roof. He's got a thing about heights and sloping roofs!
Plus, Savino ran into a HUGE wasp nest. Yeah, that would have put Randy over the edge.

Jerry and Connie's Visit

Jerry and Connie drove down from PA a couple weeks ago. Their son, Justin, came up from Valdosta where he is stationed in the Air Force. Connie hadn't seen Justin in seven months and couldn't wait to see him!!! Of course I didn't take one picture! All of these pics are from Randy's camera so most of the pics are of men and fish..ha!

Everybody munching on some food...Bumpa and Uncle Terry are into the race on the tv.

My Uncle Terry and his girlfriend, Laurie were down for a visit too. Of course I didn't get a pic of the two of them together.

Justin caught the biggest fish in our creek.

Randy's brother, Jerry, and his catch

The boys fishing our creek

Even Sam gets in the action....Randy just loves it when she goes with him.

My NEW Countertops!
We finally got rid of the old green countertops and backsplash in our kitchen. Randy and I had to pull off the laminate on the walls and remove the countertops so my beautiful new granite countertops could be installed.

Before

Before...that pink stuff was under all the laminate.

This is the stone we decided to go with for the backsplash...it looks so good!!
Installing the stone...notice the new faucet!
Poor Randy would work all day and then come home and work in the kitchen till midnight. But did he complain?...Well, yes, as a matter of fact he did!
I love the countertops and the undermount sink
We have the stone all done now. We just have to grout and seal it. It looks so pretty!!
