!!!!JONAS BROTHER'S CONCERT!!!!
Wednesday, August 20th was the best night in Sam's life!! We went to see the Jonas Brothers in concert. She's been waiting since March when I bought the tickets and the day FINALLY came!!
Chels and Sam waiting in line to get in...we had to wait quite a while for the entrance to open up.
Gates are open...everybody in!

The view from our seats...they were pretty good

We can HARDLY wait!
First came Demi Lovato from Camp Rock
She's in black in the middle
One very happy kid
She did a LOT of screaming...along with 50,000 other girls

Jonas Brothers are coming out!!!
Sistas
Sam got SO emotional when they came out on stage. She cried for the first 10 minutes of their show. She kept saying "I'm so happy. I can't believe it's really them!" I kept trying to get a shot of her teary face. This is the best I could do. I told her it was ok because "Mommy cried when I saw Rick Springfield in concert when I was 11."
Chels likes them just as much as Sam but not enough to cry!
All sweaty and getting tired
Nice face Chels
"I love you Jonas Brothers!!!"
Arms in the air for "When I look you in the eyes"
Last song was "SOS" and it was over....bummer
Sam was zonked out on the way home. I'm sure she was dreaming of Joe Jonas. We had a blast and it was a night she will not soon forget.

First day of school!!

So, Sam started 2nd grade and Chelsea started 11th grade on August 4th. Sam really likes her teacher. So far, Chels seems pretty happy with all of her teachers too. Randy made breakfast in bed for Sam on the first day. Chels never gets up earlier enough to enjoy this little treat. She's always rushing around until the last minute.

Sam with her Camp Rock shirt. She LOVES Joe Jonas.Camp Rock backpack with Joe on it...of course
Chels is almost ready!
Here is Sam on the second day...she looked so cute I had to take her picture.

Our 20 year high school reunion
We had our 20 year reunion in Dallas on August 8th. We had a great time. It was lots of fun to catch up with old friends. Some of them I hadn't seen in 20 years! We had a great turn out and everybody looked great. We laughed our heads off the whole weekend, drank too much and slept too little.
On the plane and ready!
We met up with Traci at the Dallas airport...Three Amigos
This was the "shot" crew...some couldn't hang
Traci, Daylene, Jeanne, Lisa, Amy and I...together again
Me and my friend, Jenny
Traci cracks me up in the one
Traci, Amy and Daylene
Reunion lunch
Saturday night, the reunion committee chartered a bus to take us to a club. It was a great time. The bus ride back was a real blast cuz Amy and I started singing some 80's songs and got the whole bus rockin!

The boys
The girls

We laughed and laughed....mostly at Adam behind us
BFF's...again Adam!
Amy and Angela in the hotel hallway doing the worm. Yeah, she's still got it!
5:36am...we had to get up at 9:00am to go to the airport. THAT was not fun.
Our traditional sad face shot when our girls weekends are over!! Boo-Hoo!

Happy 8th Birthday Anne!
Our trip down to Florida for Anne's birthday was our third weekend in a row of traveling out of state. But it was worth, we had a blast! Who knew an 8 year old's birthday party could be this much fun???? We started out the day at Tunnels and Tumbles for her party with her friends.
Chels and Gramma
Traci and Holly
Sam and Bop
Anne with her friends
Randy is such a booger. Look at Amy smiling away under his hand! I'm sure she wanted to kill him.
Do NOT mess with her.
Me with the birthday girl
The Laser Tag crew...I swear, Randy, Bump and Troy had more fun in there than the kids did. Especially Bump...there is no such thing as a game with him..he'll kill ya dead...even if you're five.
Chels and Big Al
Anne opening her presents from us
Dr. Anne with her new doc kit
Best Buds
Bumpa was Anne's first patient. His sling was made from a lay...very trendy and colorful.
This is when the real fun began. We started dancing on the back porch. The kids started out with us. They had no idea we'd be doing this for the next 6 hours!!! Our friends, John and Jacqueline, came over for awhile too. I'm bummed I didn't get a picture with them. We had a great time catching up with them.
Troy had to make our drinks, raspberry martinis, and Randy had to watch us drink them and then dance and sing our butts off. Poor guys....
Bump just sat back, smoked a cigar, and enjoyed the show!
Go Amy!
We really do crack ourselves up.
"The Supremes"
Gramma, Chels and Me singing and dancing to "Dancing Queen"
Duet with Gramma and Chels...I'm sure it was an ABBA song...that's when Gramma perked up.
Oh boy...it's really time for bed.
