CRAZY ABOUT "HAIRSPRAY"

Ok, some of you know that Sam and I are nuts about the movie Hairspray. We just saw it again for the 5th time! We know every word of every song and are working on all the dances. Chels and Gramma came along. This makes Chelsea's 2nd time and Gramma's 3rd. They OBVIOUSLY don't love it as much as we do! Funny thing happened at the movies....Gramma had to go potty SO BAD, she accidentaly went into the men's room! She didn't realize she was in there until she came out and saw all the urinals...haha!! She refused to let me take a pic of her in front of the men's room sign....party pooper! So, while Gramma was in the men's room, the girls and I were trying to get a pic of the 3 of us.

Here's the girls goofing off in the theatre. We were the only ones in there right up until it started. We were in the very back row so Sam and I could dance in the aisles. Since there were 4 other people in there we couldn't sing as loud as we wanted...oh well...maybe next time!! YES, THERE WILL A NEXT TIME!!! #6!

Sweet Sixteen!

Believe it or not, Chels is sweet 16! I can't believe it's been 16 years since she became my first little girl. She was such a good baby and made it so easy on me...THANKS CHELS! These years seem to have flown by. It seems like only yesterday I found out I was pregnant with her and said the words "Oh My God!" fifteen thousand times. She's growing into a beautiful, young woman now and will be off driving by herself very soon. I can't believe it! I'm so proud of her. I love you Chels! Here's a look back....

For her 16th bday we went out to the Japanese Steakhouse, Chelsea's favorite. They came out and sang...she was surprised.

Chels got lots of nice things and good chunk of $$ to hit the mall! She put half her $$ into a savings acct. We went shopping on Tuesday and she bought out the place. That's her kind of day! Love ya Chels!

Chelsea's surgery

Sept 11th Chels went in for surgery. One of the hooks in her back was protruding and needed to be removed. This should be the last surgery. Everything else in her back is fused and shouldn't move for the rest of her life. This surgery was a piece of cake compared to the last one. She didn't really have much pain and is basically back to normal after only a week and a half. We're glad we went ahead with it!

It's been a week and a half and she's doing great! Back to school on Monday!

FUN IN FLORIDA!!!

We headed down to Jacksonville a couple weeks ago. Our Wisconsin

family came down too. We had a GREAT time together! The Mosquitos (Amy's hubby's band) played on Friday night. Chels babysat the kiddies overnight so we could stay the night at the beach and get a little toasty! It was way too much fun.
