Well, it's official....Chelsea is now a licensed driver. Oh, it was nerve wracking!! She was so nervous and then this big creep came out to test her! This lady was SO mean. I felt so bad for Chels. But, she passed and was very excited. As soon as we got home, she headed over to her boyfriend's house to surprise him. No one knew she was going for it that day. Of course, I only let her go for 45 minutes and started bawling as soon as she pulled out of the garage. Hopefully, that will get better! Chels was SO worried about taking the test in the afternoon because her hair wouldn't be fresh for her picture! I SWEAR!

Halloween! This year Sam went as a jailbird. It was actually an old costume of Chelsea's that Sam wanted to wear. The year I bought it for Chels, she ended up grounded and couldn't go trick or treating. So, it hadn't even really been used! Anyway, we went to a close subdivision to trick or treat since our neighborhood is too spread out. Sam had a great time and Randy ended up holding her bag at the end of the night because it was too full. Randy and I wore our convict costumes too. So, we went as a family of convicts.

She was pooped by the end of the night...me too.
We were invited to a Halloween party from Randy and Bumpa's work. We all dressed up and really had a great time. Randy and I were originally going as Adam and Eve but Randy's leaf placement wasn't quite right! Of course he says it was too small! Chelsea babysat for us so that was nice. After the party we broke into Waffle House for breakfast!

Lordy, Lordy Randy is Forty...four....Randy's bday was Oct 17th. We all went out to eat and then back to our house for presents and cake.

Justin's new tatoo....Randy's nephew, Justin, got inked. He said he wanted to get one to honor his dad, uncle and pap. He says he wouldn't be where he is today without them. Each dogtag has their name and branch of service. The dogtags are also different because Randy retired, his pap was drafted, and his dad and Uncle Roger did not retire. It's pretty cool. Randy said "Hmmm, I've never had my name on someone else's body before".

Fall is in the air....so we headed to the local farm for the all the fun. They have pig races, a cow ride, a playground, a hayride and 3 corn mazes. Sam and Gramma only did the first, easy maze. They were too scared...chickens! Of course it had nothing to do with us running ahead and jumping out of the corn at them! The rest of us did all three. There were times I didn't think we would make it out of there.
