Sam had Career Day at school last week. She decided in five minutes that she wanted to be vet, not a veterinarian, just a vet. Here's the "vet" and her patient. We are on our last week of school. Everyone is SO excited for summer vacation to get here!!

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

We had a great time over Memorial Day Weekend. Sunday we went out to our friends, Rhonda and Raymond's place. They have a great place on Lake Jackson. The people were lots of fun and the kids had a great time too. Sam was in the water from 2pm - 9pm and was pooped! Kaitlin spent most of the weekend with us too!

Sambo ... the little boy behind her is Garrett. He was IN LOVE with her. He told her he was going to wait on his dock until she came back. When we left he told her he couldn't wait to see her again! They were so cute!

Pool's Open!

This past Sunday we headed to Gramma's for a swim. Chelsea brought along Kaitlin, Wesley and Thomas. The water was FREEZING and there was no way I was getting in that pool.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

We wokeup on Mother's Day with no power because of an overnight storm. So, I didn't get my usual muffins and tea in bed. But, I did get a nice fruit breakfast. We went to Gramma's and went out for lunch. Then, back to Gramma's to lounge by the pool. It was a nice relaxing day.

What did I get for Mother's Day? Three more chins!! Ok, really, Sam was taking this picture so I HAD to look down. I should NOT do this anymore.

Bumpa is waiting for this day to end so he doesn't have to do everything we say anymore!

Here I am with our personal bartender. All we had to do was call him from poolside and he brought new Corona's. He's such a good guy.

Sam has been dying to ride a horse. Randy's boss, Bubba, has three of them and let her come over to ride "Corona". She was in absolute heaven.

Mom and I's hairdresser broke her arm. Lucky for us Lindsey (Will's girl) is a hairdresser and will come to the house to do it. She did a great job on Mom and Sam's hair. I think our old hairdresser may be out of luck!

She gave Will some blond tips. I love it and think he should always wear it like this. Will and Lindsey are still hot and heavy. It's "love city" with those two. That's fine with us...we love her!

Kevin

Most of you know Randy's brother, Kevin, had a brain aneurysm a couple weeks ago. Apparently his big helmut head saved him. He had two bleeds and had the coiling procedure done. He is doing great and will be back to work next week. Here are some hospital shots. Hey Kevin, remember when you were all doped up and I asked you if I could take some funny shots of you for my blog?? Well, you said yes! Love ya!

He did the "I'm dead" look EVERYTIME a doctor or nurse came in the room.

Here he is with his "lemondade". He said this jug would really come in handy at the next race so he wouldn't have to keep getting up to go to the bathroom. Look how proud he is!

His first walk through the halls after surgery. Randy brought his flannel shirt with the cut off sleeves from home. Only two people can pull off the cut off flannel shirt look....Kevin and Larry the Cable Guy. Kevin swears he had the look first.

Kevin, Randy, Jerry and Roger...Jerry's beard is clearly out of control. It actually scared Kevin when he first saw it.

These two missed Kevin terribly. They were such good puppies!

Gramma always says she wants to go out in the boat. So, we picked her up on our way to Lake Jackson. We took a lunch along and had a good time.
